Scorewala ("we", "our", "us") operates the Scorewala mobile application and website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our services you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Identity details: your name, mobile number, PAN and gender — required to fetch your credit report from the credit bureau with your consent.
• Contact details: email address (optional) for support and receipts.
• Credit information: your credit score and credit report, retrieved from TransUnion CIBIL through our authorised bureau partner, only after your explicit consent.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials — we only store the payment reference and status.
• Usage data: basic technical logs (device type, app version, errors) to keep the service reliable.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To verify your identity via OTP and secure your account.
• To fetch and display your credit score and report with your consent.
• To process payments and provide purchased services (report, refresh, Prime membership).
• To respond to support requests and service communications.
• To comply with applicable laws and prevent fraud or misuse.

3. Consent for Credit Report Access

Your credit report is fetched only when you explicitly request it and provide consent inside the app. Each fetch is authorised by you and tied to your OTP-verified mobile number.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with: (a) our credit bureau partner to fetch your report at your request; (b) Razorpay to process payments; (c) our SMS provider to deliver OTPs; and (d) authorities when required by law.

5. Data Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls. Sensitive operations are protected by OTP verification and signed session tokens. No system is 100% secure, but we follow industry practices to protect your data.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your profile and report so you can access them across logins. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us at support@scorewala.in; we will delete it within 30 days except where retention is legally required.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
